Healthcare Services

There are two nurses on the permanent staff and four fully-equipped infirmaries at our school. A physician from Private Sani Konukoğlu Hospital between 12.00-13.00 every day.

Our students have private accident insurance for possible accidents at our school. Necessary precautions are taken for possible accidents at our school and the first response to patients is made within parents’ knowledge and that student is taken to Private Sani Konukoğlu Hospital.

The students’ health forms are filed in the unit. All the records at the infirmary are confidential and are not made public excluding mandatory conditions (sudden illness, health survey, etc.).

Necessary precautions are taken for the students with chronic illnesses. The students’ vaccinations and annual health check are carried out in coordination with family practice center teams affiliated with the Provincial Health Directorate.

Health surveys for teeth, eyes, etc. are made with physicians to diagnose and solve possible health problems at school within the scope of preventive health services and, if there is any, negative results are notified to the parents.

Periodical height and weight measurement for students is conducted and statistics are kept. In this respect, the parents are informed to ensure that necessary precautions are taken, if necessary. One of the school nurses or a nurse from Private Sani Konukoğlu Hospital accompanies the groups of students to solve possible health problems during the competitions and trips outside the city.
